IPX8 Water Resistance Description

What situations should be avoided while wearing the watch?

Water resistance is not permanent and may diminish over time. The following situations may cause erosion or damage to the waterproof structure and affect the watch's water resistance. They should be avoided:

· Avoid sudden temperature changes exceeding 5°C (e.g., using a hair dryer to blow hot air onto the watch).

· Avoid wearing the watch during high-platform diving.

· Avoid operating the watch or removing/installing the SIM card when the watch surface is wet.

· Avoid rinsing the watch under high-pressure water flow.

· Avoid leaving the watch in clothing pockets and placing it in a washing machine.

· Avoid dropping or subjecting the watch to impacts.

· Avoid immersing the watch in water continuously for more than 2 hours.

· If the watch comes into contact with liquids other than clean water (such as seawater or the substances mentioned above), rinse it slowly with clean water and dry it thoroughly. Otherwise, chemical residues may corrode or damage the waterproof structure.

· For devices rated IPX8 only, avoid using the watch for swimming or immersing it in water continuously for more than 30 minutes.

How should the watch be maintained after water exposure?

· After exposure to water (e.g., handwashing, playing with water, swimming), remove any water accumulated in the speaker and microphone openings or allow it to dry naturally to avoid affecting sound quality. Do not insert any objects into openings (such as speaker or microphone holes), as this may damage the waterproof structure.

· After water exposure, promptly remove surface moisture using a soft, clean cloth. Do not use heat or compressed air (such as air guns or blowers) to dry the watch.

· After exercise or heavy sweating, clean and dry the watch, strap, and skin.

· Water resistance is not permanent and may decrease due to drops, impacts, or contact with chemicals. It is recommended to have the watch inspected annually at an authorized service center.

· When used in water or other liquids, the touchscreen and certain functions may not operate properly.

· If water ingress is detected, immediately send the device to an authorized service center for inspection.
