What SIM card does this kids' smartwatch require and how much data is recommended?

The Z1 uses a standard Nano-SIM card. As a 4G kids' smartwatch, we recommend a data plan with approximately 1 GB per month (actual data usage can be adjusted depending on usage habits).
Please ensure that VoLTE is enabled and that your mobile network provider (e.g., Telekom, Vodafone, or O2) supports the relevant frequency bands. Further details can be found on the product page.

How long does the Z1 battery last?

Can a newly purchased SIM card be used directly?

In most cases, yes. However, we recommend disabling the SIM card PIN request in advance.
Here's how: First, insert the SIM card into a smartphone, disable the PIN request in the settings, and then insert the SIM card into the imoo watch.
Alternatively, you can try updating the watch to the latest firmware version. If a new version is available, connect the watch to Wi-Fi and plug it into a charger. The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Is the Z1 waterproof?

Yes, the Z1 is IPX8 waterproof and can be worn without issue when washing hands or in the rain.
Please note: If the SIM card cover is not properly closed or has been damaged, water may enter and damage the watch. In this case, the watch should not come into contact with water.
After contact with water, we also recommend gently drying the microphone and speaker openings with a cloth.

What can I do if the watch shows 4G but has no internet connection?

If your imoo watch fails to connect despite showing a 4G signal, first connect it to a Wi-Fi network.
Then contact your mobile network provider to obtain the APN settings and enter them manually in the imoo App:
"More" → "Watch Settings" → "APN".
Please also note: If the SIM card's data allowance is exhausted or there are outstanding charges, the watch may still display 4G but be unable to connect to the internet.
